Bowen Tourism and Business operates the Bowen Visitor Information Centre located at the Big Mango on the Bruce Highway, and the Information Booth on the front beach Esplanade. Our team of staff and volunteers welcome more than 40,000 visitors each year and promote both Bowen and the whole of the Whitsundays region to visitors. 

At both the Information Centre and Information Booth visitors can plan their holiday in Bowen and the Whistundays by booking accommodation and tours. Our friendly staff assist visitors in finding the perfect experience for their needs. Once organising their visit locally, our trained staff can also help visitors plan the next stages of their holiday, booking accommodation and tours up and down the East coast of Queensland. We also stock a wide range of maps and visitor guides. Our staff and volunteers have travelled extensively through Queensland and are able to answer detailed questions about routes and travelling distances.
