Horseshoe Bay Resort and Caravan Park, where the bush really does meet the beach, is situated at the tip of Cape Edgecumbe in Bowen. They are surrounded by four sandy beaches and the reef is just off shore making for some amazing snorkelling and diving.

Horseshoe Bay is a lifeguard patrolled beach during school holidays and on weekends in the warmer months. There is a boat ramp close by to launch from and check out the local fishing spots.

Their resort is on the circuit of one of the most scenic bush walks in the area, with rocky outcrops, beautiful scenery and fauna and flora, all for you to enjoy. Set on five acres of bush and tropical gardens, they are just five-kilometres from town with easy access to public transport. There are several dining options within walking distance and weekly markets on Sundays.

Horseshoe Bay is a great place for swimming, diving, snorkelling, fishing, walking, cycling, kayaking, rock climbing or just plain old-fashioned relaxing - do as much or as little as you like.

A deposit of one night’s accommodation is required
To confirm a booking of a short term stay and
one week’s accommodation to confirm a stay of three
weeks or more.
Full payment is due for whole period booked
On check in.
Check in is 2pm. Check out is 10am.
No refunds for early check out.
Cancellations
30% cancellation fee applies.
Less than 1 week forfeits deposit.
Refunds
We do not normally refund if you simply change your mind
your circumstance changes or you make a wrong selection.
Receipt of your deposit means we hold the booking for you.
Bookings are held until 5pm non-arrival or no notification
Of late arrival room may be rebooked.
