Queensland Day Flavours of Bowen is a free community event Saturday, June 3 from 11am until 4pm on the Bowen Foreshore at the Soundshell.
Created to highlight the variety of food produced in Bowen. The day will include market stalls, produce displays, food trucks, cooking demonstrations, live music and cultural dances.
A fun day out for the whole family, there will be plenty of kid's activities including free face painting, tomato and spoon races, kindy gym, sack races and a visit from Kenny the Mango!
Along with opportunities to meet the farmers, there will also be some fun produce-based activities like tomato carting races and watermelon and corn eating competitions.
Celebrating the Flavours of Bowen, there will be a foreshore table banquet lunch with tickets available soon.
Queensland Day Flavours of Bowen Festival is part of the 2023 Queensland Government’s Queensland Day celebrations.
